Program Evaluation
Incentives is currently undertaking an evaluation of the scope and effectiveness of its adolescent substance abuse treatment program. The evaluation consists of a one group pre-test post-test design with data collected at admission, during treatment, at discharge and at 60 day follow-up. The evaluation incorporates both process and outcome measures and includes client demographics, type and amount of treatment services, program implementation issues, fidelity to treatment models, client satisfaction, client retention and abstinence and recidivism at follow-up. Data collection began on April 13, 2005 and will continue for one year. The results of the evaluation will allow Incentives’ administrative and clinical staff to analyze program effectiveness and to improve the quality of treatment services.
