General Job Description:
This position is responsible for the facility on a 24-hour basis to ensure the safety of the clients as needed. This position will be responsible for attending monthly staff meetings on a regular basis. This position is under the direct supervision of the Milieu Supervisor on your shift. Bi-lingual strongly preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
- Constant supervision of the residents is imperative
- Familiar with Agency’s emergency procedures, including emergency numbers and the Agency’s chain of command
- Provide Shift Reports concerning any and all events during the shift prior to the end of your shift
- Ensure that the clients are provided with a clean and safe environment
- Transportation of clients to doctor appointments and other outside group activities
- Monitor client’s behavior during shift
- Enforce program policies at all times
- Manages and supervises client medication, meals, recreation, and group outings
- Monitor client’s education
- Work with Clinical team members to communicate directly related information regarding clients
- Assist in assigning and monitoring housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene duties to clients
- Ensure that all doors to the facility are locked and secured
- Will perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Four-year college degree from an accredited university or college preferred
- Ability to follow written and spoken directions from others
- At least one year experience working with adolescents in an addiction treatment facility environment
- Valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record
